Signs, vehicle graphics, and other visible displays do different jobs, but they share the same real-world setting: people move through streets, parking lots, storefronts, job sites, and public spaces. These figures provide useful context for that kind of visibility. Each statistic links directly to the organization that published it.

Out-of-home advertising reached a record revenue level in 2025, while digital formats made up more than a third of that market. At the same time, Americans traveled more than 3.3 trillion miles by road over the 12 months through July 2026. Together, those measures describe a large and active environment for messages that need to be seen away from a screen.
For a local business, team, school, or event, the practical question is still simple: can the right people recognize the message quickly, in the places they already go? A well-planned sign, banner, decal, or vehicle graphic gives that message a physical place to show up.
